The IAB Ireland / UTalkMarketing 2012 training schedule is informed by the specific needs of our market to grow skills and knowledge across the digital marketing mix.

We are introducing a series of one-day workshops in 3 online specialisations, Social Media, Measurement & Evaluation and Search Marketing, each of which are essential for marketers and advertising practitioners to maximise their digital return on investment.

Our Digital Foundation Course will run twice during 2012 in response to the popularity of our recent launch of this certificate course. Delegates were overwhelmingly happy with the content, the training styles, the guest presenters and the fact that the course was very much tailored to their needs. They also liked the fact that it is three consecutive Thursdays so it is completed within a tight timeframe.

All of our courses are kept to a small number, maximum 16 delegates so booking early is advisable.

Measurement & Evaluation
In the current economic climate, demonstrating return on investment is more important than ever before. Digital delivers a vast amount of data, which not only allows a better understanding of consumers’ habits and needs, but also helps to measure marketing performance and optimise marketing output.

This one day course, presented with UTalkMarketing, has been specifically designed to help delegates understand what data is available, what tools can be utilised to analyse it and how it can be used to optimise campaigns to improve effectiveness.

Most consumers turn to search at some point during their path to purchase making it essential for every marketer to understand the fundamentals of search and its effect on all forms of advertising.

This one day session ensures delegates understand how natural and paid for search works, the key executional elements of search, how to integrate it into digital marketing campaigns and appreciate how measurement and optimisation has driven the sectors phenomenal success.

Digital Foundation Certificate

Following the success of our inaugural three-day Digital Foundation Certificate, we plan to run the same course again in April and September 2012.

This 3-day foundation certificate, course, running 1 day a week, is carefully designed to ensure that each delegate will come away with the practical knowledge of the key digital disciplines including video, mobile, search, affiliates, social media, measurement, regulations and future trends, and with the skills and confidence to implement a digital marketing plan.
