COVID-19 restrictions have fast tracked the fundamental role of digital for business sustainability, this is particularly evident in the dramatic growth of eCommerce in the Retail sector.
The move to online shopping is a trend evident in the Irish market in 2020, with *89% of adults visiting an online retailer and *78% of Irish adults who made an online purchase on any digital device.

A further example of this rapid acceleration can be seen from the growth of the UK online retail market which is estimated to have achieved an increase associated with 9-year’s of growth in just 3 months post lockdown in 2020.**
