Shazia Ginai, CEO, Neuro-Insight will share the key findings of Neuro Insight’s Australia’s study on News Environments and their influence on advertising, along with the agency’s neuro based research on consumers’ subconscious response to advertising with tips on how advertisers can maximise advertising response by using creative that taps into the context of the news site.

We are delighted to share Wave two of our Research, exploring the Digital Audio Landscape in Ireland. The research was commissioned by IAB Ireland’s Mobile  & Audio Council and was conducted by Red C Research early in September.  Sara Eslami, Associate Director, Red C Research will share the highlights of the research.

With COVID-19 accelerating online shopping around the world, it’s more important than ever for marketers to understand how people make purchase decisions. Google UK & Ireland’s Head of Market Insights, Jonny Protheroe will share the Think with Google latest research, showing how brands can win and retain customers in the “messy middle” of the purchase journey.

 

  • 3.15pm How to measure the effectiveness of your Digital Advertising 

With Advertising Effectiveness more important than ever, Phil Sumner, VP Insights, Northern Europe, Teads and member of IAB Europe’s Research committee will share IAB Europe’s Digital Advertising Effectiveness Measurement Framework which was launched in April, alongside practical case studies of brands using the framework and plans for the future of the framework.

Speaker & Panelist Biogs:

Shazia Ginai is the CEO of Neuro-Insight in the UK, managing the growth of the business and overseeing projects across a range of media and industries. A creative and curious insight and marketing professional with a passion for people and leading insight to action. She has a track record of successfully building and leading insight capability and embedding this into organisations to drive action across multiple markets and functions. Prior to working at Neuro-Insight, she worked across the luxury fragrance and skin care brands at P&G after which she created and led the global insight function at ghd.  Shazia has a passion for truly actionable insights and the story told through data and is a strong advocate for gender and racial equality. 

Jonny Protheroe, Head of Market Insights, Google UK & Ireland

Jonny leads the UK & Ireland research team at Google, focused on understanding evolving consumer behaviour, measuring advertising effectiveness, and helping advertisers and agencies make better data-driven decisions.

 

 

Phil Sumner, VP Insights for Northern Europe at Teads has over 15 years’ experience in digital media and digital media research. He leads Teads’ research relationship with Global FMCG organisations and media agencies. Phil’s specialist area is around measuring digital and cross media reach, having produced various pieces of primary research and thought leadership in this area. Phil also sits on the board of IAB Europe and helps drive the agenda in the research committee.

Eoin Ó Súilleabháin, Head of Digital Marketing, Bord Gáis Energy

Having initially worked for 7 years as eChannel Developer and Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager at Irish energy utility Bord Gáis Energy. Eoin spent a number of years working in different sectors e.g. Senior Acquisition Manager with Camelot Global / The National Lottery, and even agency side e.g. Digital Strategy Director with Mindshare, before returning to Bord Gáis Energy in October 2018 to head up their Digital Marketing function.   While with BGE Eoin worked on large scale ‘game changing’ campaigns such as The Big Switch as well as award winning digital campaigns and initiatives geared at activating sponsorship properties including the GAA Hurling Championship and the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. More recently Eoin and BGE picked up two awards at the 2020 All Ireland Marketing Awards. Both awards were for digital category submissions i.e. Digital Marketing and Online Channel Marketing.  A proud Cork Gaeltacht native living and working in Dublin who’s passionate about social media and all things digital. Eoin also consults on various projects outside of the day job and was involved in the setting up of Irish language Business Network, Borradh.

Helen Beecher, Head of Digital at OMD

Helen has been with OMD for 5 years managing teams of digital specialists and evolving the groups offering to ensure excellence in digital media planning and implementation for their clients. Prior to this position Helen worked supplier side with Microsoft, Yahoo! and the Irish Times group developing and selling digital media products to the Irish and UK market. Helen has been involved with the IAB since its inception in Ireland. “The fast paced nature and continual evolution of the digital marketplace is challenging but that’s what makes it such an interesting and rewarding career”.
