Kevin Rooney, Brand Manager with Pigsback.com gives an update on the reward’s brand recent activities and their reason for becoming IAB Ireland members.
Pigsback.com has been a pioneer in promoting brands in the Irish digital market since 2000. We have 575,000 loyal member whom actively engage with our brand. A lot has changed since we launched back in 2000 when we were one of the first Irish owned websites and received recognition of this by winning numerous trade awards for innovation.
Our business has evolved over the years and we now operate in a very competitive category. We took stock and we did a lot of research to discover what our members wanted and expected from us. From this research we will be re-launching our new look website during October 2015. The new look website will be a premium environment for premium brand promotions, unlike our competitors. Our new competitions zone will bring a different mechanic to the Irish market and will be the number 1 environment for brand promotions and awareness. Our beta launch of the new competition zone has indicated that engagement levels were substantially high and very exciting.
We believe we have a strong and exciting new product and we will be investing a significant marketing budget to promote our new site and competitions zone. We have joined IAB Ireland as with our new brand position and website we feel it is the perfect time to re-connect with agencies and other media owners and become involved again with the Irish digital community. We look forward to meeting IAB members and discussing future advertising opportunities on our site.
